Q. Congratulations on your new single! Can you tell us a bit about the inspiration behind it and what listeners can expect?
A. The beat of the song was first of all inspired by another song I really like and then the song itself was me trying to let any girl who wants to get with me know all the perks she's going to be getting.
Q. Your music often blends traditional African sounds with contemporary beats. How do you approach incorporating these elements into your songs?
A. I'm African so it's only natural for me to resonate more with African sounds and that's why I try to add some African elements into my music.
Q. With your album on the horizon, what themes or messages can fans anticipate exploring through your music?
A. The album is a mix of my life's experiences from the beginning up until now, from my experience with friends, family, money, girls all of that.
Q. As an artist making waves in the Afrobeats scene, how do you feel your music contributes to the genre's evolution and global appeal?
A. Afrobeats has grown over the years with a lot of artists giving their unique spice to the sound and that exactly what I've done, the impact might have not been felt yet but I believe my unique spice to Afrobeats would definitely be something people want to emulate.
Q. Could you share some insights into your creative process? How do you typically begin crafting a new song or project?
A. Most of my songs are experiences from life and all so its only natural for me to put them them to writings.
Q. Collaboration is a significant aspect of the music industry. Are there any artists or producers you're particularly excited about working with in the future?
A. Collaborations are truly a very essential part of music and I've had a couple of collaborations with people who are also on the rise just as I am but then artistes I would particularly be excited to work with in the future are Seyi vibes, Wizkid cus I resonate with their sounds a lot.
Q. In what ways do you hope your music impacts listeners, both in Nigeria and internationally?
A. I want people globally and in my country to hear my music and relate with my life's experiences and catch a glimpse of my journey and then they can hopefully get inspired to be the best they can be in whatever field they may be.
Q. The music industry is constantly evolving, especially with the rise of digital platforms. How do you navigate the changing landscape as an artist?
A. I try as much as possible to stay up to date with latest tech and gear in the music space and also I stay in touch with other upcoming artistes and producers and this helps me navigate through the changing landscape.
