Jose Mourinho has waved away the concerns of his fellow Premier League managers and delivered a withering remark to them in the latest round of discussions over its return.
The Tottenham manager is keen for the top flight to restart in just a matter of weeks, echoing the opinion of peers Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti.
According to The Mirror, Mourinho even told the array of bosses in the recent League Managers' Association meeting to 'stay home and watch Bundesliga' as preparations ramp up for the return of football in England.
Pep Guardiola, Frank Lampard, Nigel Pearson and Graham Potter are all said to be concerned about rushing back players into training and re-starting the league too soon.
But the Bundesliga will return this weekend amid continued uncertainty over the Premier League's new start date.
The LMA discussions took place on Wednesday, before players held talks with the Premier League and Professional Footballers' Association.
